I have recorded in dozens of studios and recording with Lewis was the best experience I have had. Because of his skills and experience we did  pre production, recording and post production for 2 songs in 2 days!! Lewis is lighting fast at editing and mixing and knows his gear inside out. Been coming to Dead Basic for the last couple of years to record, always a great experience and a good laugh! Lewis caters to our sound, setup, or any way we want to run the session. Providing advice right the way through the process. He deserves all the credit for putting up with my over the top perfectionism at the editing stage. In the 7 years we’ve been working with Dead Basic Studios, the main thing I’ve realised is how modest “Dead Basic” is as a name for a place with the level of professionalism and effort they put into each project and each session.
